FOCIS GOES SOUTH 2021

WELCOME

We are excited to invite you to participate to the ICGEB Workshop and FOCIS Course: FOCIS Goes South

This workshop, which is organized by FOCIS Centers of Excellence (FCEs) from Argentina, Brazíl, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay, and sponsored by the Millennium Institute on Immunology and Immunotherapy, the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS) and the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) consists on an advanced course on Translational Cellular and Molecular Immunology, a course on flow cytometry and talks by several leading scientists in Immunology.

The immunology course and talks will focus on advances in biomedical immunology, discussing aspects on autoimmune diseases, transplantation, cancer, and infectious diseases, among others. The aim of this course is to contribute to the immunology education of students and trainees in Latin America and to promote the collaboration between FCEs from the region and abroad. These new scientific interactions could contribute to addressing public health problems that are important for Latin America.
